Active Energy Storage based on Regenerative Isotherme

A small R&D company "nemes-invent"srl has developed and patented a new technology called by authors "Active Energy Storage " based on "Regenerative Isotherme".How it works.There are known in present several technologies to store energy in compressed gases like e.g. CAES , compressed air energy storage,which store energy by compressing the air inside some underground caverns using turbo-compressors trains driven by grid electricity during nights and weekends.The day after , when a peak in demand appears, the compressed air is released , heated by gas inside combustors and expanded in gas turbines or expanders to drive the electro-generators connected on grid.The efficiency of this technology get from the fact that weekend and night energy is cheaper than the day energy , despite of the very poor efficiency of the compressed air technology.But how long will the night energy be cheaper ? If the electric car will conquest the market and everybody will plug his car overnight ,the grid electricity will no more support price differences .The AES technology improve the storage efficiency up to 100%,using compressed gases also,but in a new , active form.During the compression of the gas inside an insulated, pressured tank, the gas is simultaneous chilled by some heat-exchangers fitted inside the tanks , on transfer pipes and on fix blades of the compressor , achieving an isotherm compression which is absolutely free, the whole compression energy being extracted during compression as compression heat and stored in heat storing stuffs, like melted salts , as latent melting heat.Inside the heat exchangers a "freon" like fluid is evaporated and than the vapours are compressed by a heat pump inside other heat exchangers to condense.The heat pump has a over-unit efficiency called COP (coefficient of performance) of about 3.8.The energy needed to drive the heat pump is just a quarter of the energy used by the main compressor.During the expansion time the gas is heated recovering the stored heat and yield work to drive the electrogenerator or other devices.The heating of the gas occurs inside the tank, on delivery pipes and on the expander housing achieving an isothermal expansion which transform the heat 100% in mechanical work .This not just theoretical but also practical due to some clues not disclosable yet.The RI has many applications from UPS , peak power plants, wind energy storage,to gas turbine efficiency improvement,reciprocate and rotary engines efficiency improving or roller coaster pneumatic lunch , as well as aircraft and torpedo on carriers pneumatic lunch....Nobody interested ? nemes.invent@gmail.com

Are you the inventor of this process, or are you just posting something that you think will be of interest to everyone here? If you are the inventor, if your heat pump really has 380% efficiency like you claim, then can you get a credible independent third party to repeat the experiment and publish their results here? If not, don't expect a positive response. While there are those here who are willing to keep an open mind about alternative energy, claims of 380% efficiency have crossed the lines of credibility to most people here.

Dear Dvader1000 ,

I do not claim to invent over unit devices ! Who knows about heat pumps or refrigerators they know that COP is not the Thermodynamic Efficiency but the factor of heat transfer , from the cold source to the hot source . Using 1 unit of energy to drive the "freon" compressor ,the device pumps 3.8 units of energy (heat) from the cold medium to the hot medim. The device cools the cold site and heats the hot site.That is the reason why using just a quart of the transported energy we can heat our homes harvesting the outer air heat in our very known air conditioning . Better solutions ,if a ground or underground water is nearby, a liquid/liquid heat exchanger can harvest from water enough heat to heat the home over winter (and to cool the haus over summer). (COP is higher 5-7)The heat is removed from the cold medium by "latent heat of vaporization '' by freon vapors and compressed in the condenser side to release the "the latent heat of condensation" added with the own heat of the heat pump (from power grid). I know that battery storage is considered supremely efficient, but it has that pesky up front cost. Thus, the impetus to find alternatives.

I'm sure in your example that using an incompressible fluid would be far more efficient and simple.

Your example seems to require large quantities of a special heat storage medium, as well as compressed air tanks which can fail more catastrophically than hydraulic containment. It also includes two types of compressors and multiple heat exchangers. So, it is rather complicated and has many points of energy loss.
