Recent Graduate Material Science Looking for Job

04/03/2009 3:45 PM

To Whom it may concern: This is Biswas Rijal. I am a recent graduate student (MS) from University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona. I graduated on December 2008. My major is Materials science and Engineering. I have Bachelors degree in Physics and Mathematics from Coe College, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. I have two years of experience in glass research where I have polished and grinded glasses for optical purposes. I am very proficient in analytical equipments like RAMAN spectroscopy, DTA (digital thermal analyzer), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimetry). I have also worked with team of scientists in Rutherford Appleton laboratory in England. I have taken statistics in research and materials design class in my graduate studies to help me on my career path. My physics and mathematics background, emphasized in Mechanics and Material Science field, has given me problem solving and critical thinking ability. I have customer service and communication skills that I acquired from my job at OSCR in University of Arizona. I am an ideal candidate for scientist or materials engineer in your company with good customer service and communication skills. Thank you. Sincerely yours, Biswas Rijal Email: biswas.rijal@gmail.com

Congratulations and good luck.

Were I you, I'd be chatting up folks & trying to find PV (photovoltaic) companies in Silicon Valley, the rest of the manufacturing market Sucks.
