Chrome and Firefox

04/05/2009 3:07 PM

Hi, Was just wondering if there is a easy fix to get the bar above the question box which has the font etc, onto google chrome. Firefox and IE have it, and would prefer not to use Firefox and IE, because it slows down older systems such as mine.

I suspect Chrome is so much faster because it does not have all the eye candy of firefox and IE. I really like Chrome, but haven't gotten the CR4 toolbar and Engineering Edge tool bar to work in Chrome. And does Chrome come in Linux flavor yet? I no longer use Windows for surfing the net...

They are working on making a linux compatible chrome, and you can sign up @ :

http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/linux.html

from that, they will tell you when it comes out.

Forums.techguy.org seems to have got it right - Their bar appears fine on chrome - Could we use some of the same formatting?
