On understanding nature of Planetary Gears

11/16/2006 4:19 AM

Can anyone recommend a few good websites or books that clearly explain the mechanics, transfer of forces, inputs/outputs and solutions offered by Planetary Gears.

Greatly appreciate your help.

Check out the information available at the A.G.M.A. (American Gear Manufacturer's Association) website. Although it requires a membership fee there is a wealth of information there. Ing. Robert Forbus
