you can reffer ASME SECTION 8 division 1 pressure vessal code. if you want mark nozzle orientation on presure vessal , divide circumfrence to 4 eqal parts each 90 degree. 0-90-180-270-360 then mark on required degree location.

What kind of nozzle are you talking about?

There are:

Fire Hose Nozzles

Firewater Spray Nozzles

Vessel Inlet and Outlet Nozzles

Rocket Propellant Nozzles

Rocket Booster Nozzles

Etc.
