What are the methods which can be used to reduce the axial and radial clearance in turbine?

is complex, but why you want to reduce ? is to big clearances ? May the idea is was : Your Steam Turbine should be repair/overhaul to recondition.

subhranshshekhar Pray tell. what course are you doing? You have asked something like 15 questions, all in the same manner and all related to the same subject matter. If there is something that you specifically do not understand there are many people willing to help, however it looks to me that you are asking us to do your research/homework for you.

It is too general to answer easily.You should know some prequisite: the types of bearings, the concept of alignment and relative /absolute expansion and many other things about rotating machines among them specially steam turbines.Did you pass prereqisites?

You could use carbon or something else to be abrade, then you will have only the smallest clearance.

Wooden wedges.

Wrap with duct tape.

Spray foam.
