Industrial Networks

11/20/2006 1:39 AM

I am looking on information about FTE (Fault Tolerant Ethernet). A Honeywell Experion network exists in a plant and the network is FTE, meaning that all nodes on the network are FTE nodes. I need to add a new system with a computer (standard industrial PC) and connect it to the FTE network. Could someone let me know what do I need to make a standard computer FTE-compliant? Thanks.

You need to purchase two model numbers from your local Honeywell office

NE-NICS01 Dual port Network Interface Controller for STP connections that will be installed on your local pc and you also need 1 off NS-FTK000, FTE software for computer (FTE node license)
