From which ASME Section we will come to know about nominal thickness for MATERIAL SA-516 Gr-70 , above which PWHT is required?

Are yiu familiar wih ASME ?

get the P number of the material (if I am not wrong it is P1 G2) then search for the requirement.

Use ASME Sec 2 A for materials and you will find SA 516 and the requirements all its there.

please refer ASME B 31.3 table 331.1.1 (requirements for heat treatment).there you will find for carbon steel pwht required for thickness 19 mm and above.
