Hey good question there. I do believe that some of those compressors are designed to send some of the 'hot gas' toward an oil cooler loop first as well as toward the doors-cabinet in order to control sweating troubles around the appliance.
The other piping are loop toward the regular refri condenser (Heat Exchanger) for refrigeration purposes specifically. Many times part of such loop travel around the drip pan underneath the refri in order to get rid of the defrost water at same time.
So few advantages are be made out of these many loops all over. You have the Technology my friends. Keep those units clean and keep it running smoothly...
