hi gents

please can some one advice me how to contact with baldor electric company, as i want to get informations about baldor 5hp motor, but i could not find it on baldor website.

5hp, 208-230/460v, 12.3-11.2/5.6amps, 3500rpm, frame 184CZ, 60hz, 3phase.

when i visited contact us section on thier website, i should write my name, e-mail, position....etc. the problem is that there field which i should fill it up to send my message, its from which state am i? actually i am not from the united states, not even from america. i am from africa, but in that field it does not give choise if you are from somewhere else. which i understood that i can not send the e-mail to baldor if i am not in america.

is there any body visited this website and saw what i mean or maybe i missed something?

please advice

On Baldors' contact page ... a couple of lines down is a spot for country. Choose yours...or try to get close. If it keeps wanting a state... choose your favorite and send it.

Either way, you'll need to find your nearest sales representative because Baldor sells through distributors. Look here then change location to international:

The reason that you cannot find the motor in the catalog, is that it is not a stock motor; it is modified or "custom". The 184CZ tells me that it is a 184 NEMA frame size, with a "C" face (mounting), and the "Z" indicates that there is something special about the motor ( this generally means the shaft is dimensionally different from standards, or a different material, etc.) When you contact Baldor/Reliance make sure that you all of your info and they will be able to help.
