how can i use 3.5G network for home auotmation, especially in security, imaging and controls.

Why would a solution to a problem ill-defined rely on which network you use?

Unless this is perhaps an assignment?

check out the website x10.com. You can get software, cameras, timers, alarms, etc. that you operate via your home computer. Your entire home can be fully automated. I run my pool and spa systems via my computer too. Good luck.
