Fabric Conversion Problem

05/05/2009 8:45 AM

Need to convert the following:

Liters/Meters squared/second to Cubic Feet/minute

l/m^2/s to cfm

Any suggestions? We are trying to compare two diffrent fabrics, one from China and one from US. These values are used to describe air permeablity of the fabric.

Thanks for you assistance.

Well, Guv, the first thing is to look at the units, see? The first is a velocity and the second is a volume flow rate. So they won't go, unless you define an area.

You need to find the area spec for the test on the US fabric.

In the future this may help.
