Opinions are just a bit divided on the flame/induction hardened gears Vs Carburised gears (and also antifriction bearings).

We have suppliers for both the types and both of them vouch for the superiority of them (and that is not only in gears but also bearings). And all of them are one of the foremost in the world.

And just for information there is not much of a difference in the performance/ reliability/ life of them. But then their processes are in high control.

So it is difficult to answer this question. But maybe EN24 is just a bit better due to toughness.
