How Motor rewinding ?

Dear all ,

I purchase a three phase induction 5KW motor in a markeet. motor winding is allready out only have rotor & sater . Now i want to rewind 1400 RPM , motor slot 24 .how i rewind becasue i do not know standard wire gague number , pitch.

It is possible to calculate a new set of windings, ie number of turns per coil, diameter of wire and number of parallel wires, electrical connection diagram, maximum allowed motor current and design voltage, design power, etc.

However, if it is for a normal commercial motor, just get a new one, it is more cheap.

If it is for some special purpose, I think you better contact someone in a motorrepair shop.

If it is the first motor you want to rewind, just forget it, it will not work that way.
