Antistatic Additive for PU Elastomer

11/23/2006 7:06 AM

I´m looking for addittives for PU elastomer. Pls see if my question is right. Normally plastics accumulate electric charge that should be discharged somewhere and idea is minimize or distribute the discharge during performing.

Thank You in advance for any help.

I have additive or I can coated your fabric with our PU which has electrostatic decay.

Please contact your plastics supplier.

We mould heaps of parts and decided to make our own tote bins for a while. We wanted "dissipative" tubs for use in our paint and electronics departments.

The supliers was able to provide us with a compatible additive that was included at molding stage.

Those bins (now over 10 years old) still perform well.

If you have to coat containers, then you also need the means to verify the effectiveness and to determine if the coating has "worn out" as it will rub off in handling.
