Transferator Hot Air Engines

11/23/2006 12:56 PM

Is there anyone on CR4 who is familiar with the Transferator engines being made in GB by Stirling-Stirling and others.

Three cylinders, propane fired, water cooled, straight crankshaft with 2 ball bearing eccentrics on each cylinder connected to the power piston and 'transferator.' Have not seen details of the mechanism connecting the transferator and power piston to the two eccentrics and crankshaft. May be a special bell crank arrangement.

The ball bearings appear to have an I.D. of 3 to 4 in. and O.D. of 4 to 5 in. unshielded. These may be unique to GB or the EU

Any information appreciated.
