Murphy's Law is universal.

When one of the first Russion explorers landed on Venus, it was supposed to eject the camera lens, take pictures, analyse soil samples and beam the results back for analysis. It had a very short interval in which to do this, due to the high temperature on the surface..a one-shot deal.

When the soil info was analysed, it was determined that the arm had grabbed the lens cap, ground it up, and sent back raw data, then died.

Murphy must have a summer home on Mars also.
