A-259 is a withdrawn standard for testing magnetic materials:

http://www.astm.org/DATABASE.CART/WITHDRAWN/A259.htm

A-269 is for seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel tubing for general service:

http://www.astm.org/Standards/A269.htm

So everything is different.

(I could assume you made a mistake and try to guess what other standard you are trying to compare to - but please confirm what you actually intended)

EDIT: Please do not double/triple/.... post the exact same question.
