	The first question we like to ask is..... Can your generator start automatically? If "NOT" how do you start it. 	If you are not a skilled electrician who has worked with this type of equipment before, it is highly recommended that you hire one that is. Automatic transfer switches are not something that the average homeowner can properly install. __________________ If you don't have time to do it right the first time, when are you going to have time to do it over?

	Hi, First your DG should have the controller for auto start and off. you have to design such a way that two switches for two source. once main failure give the feedback to DG for start. once DG start you must check main power switch status must be open. now you can close the DG power switch. once main power comes in give the feedback to DG for OFF and must open the DG power switch. now you can close the main power switch. You can't use both source without Synchronization.

	Dear All, One thing is very important to be mentioned, As in some of the countries city power voltage is not stable therefore During the design we must to add one adjustable relay for low voltage and high voltage I mean if the city power voltage becomes low in this case this relay must give feedback to generator to be started and switch off city power on the system and also if city power voltage becomes higher the same like before it should give feedback to generator to start and switch off city power on the system. Note: This relay should have option for selecting of low and high voltage range.
