Are you looking to build a reader for passive or active RFID devices. Would much easier with the use of active RFID. With passive the limitation would come when trying to induce enough current to power up the device and send a signal 1.5 meters

Possibly. Escort Memory Systems claims their HF series tags can operate at 1.2 meters.

hai

i don't have any problem in using active tags

but the problem here is that the cost of a module and antenna is too high

so i decided to make it myself (atleat try )

is there any articles available on reader and antenna design?

i am sure that you people are much experienced than me and show me the right way

thanking you
