Wind Turbines and Blade Design

HI friends is there any buddy help me to make wind turbine in less cost.I have planned to construct 10 to 12 wind turbine in my area (colony) to over come power cut.i will going to keep one proposal in front of my society committee.So if there is any one who can help me plz give ans.thanks

Yes Dear ----.

There will be many people willing to help you on making wind turbines. There are ceratin issues that need to be answered first i.e.

  1. What is rating of wind turbines (Power out put in watts/Kilo watts / Mega watts) that you are aiming for.
  2. What is the wind speed/ workable wind availability (duration in hours) in the area where UR planning to install wind turbines.
  3. Will your wind turbines work in stand alone mode or it will be grid connected.
  4. Do you want to install wind turbines atop the buiding or they will bo on the ground.
  5. how much finnancial freedom you have for this project.

There's an article here which gives information on wind maps, and links to various maps (depending where you live) *and* has some free information on actually building the wind turbines too by a couple who have been doing it for over 15 years...
