Bevel Gear Teeth Profile Creation

Hello,

I'm working in forging industries in R&D department. but i can't develop bevel gear product. because i'm unable to creat bevel gear profile as specialy straight bevel gear. so kindly give to me the instruction and example of bevel gear profile and teeth profile creation.

Hello, in any machanic book about you can find the formules to calculate all, diameters, angles, number of teeth (Z) and so on; all depend of it is english or metric.

I don't have right now example or formulates in hand, but it's easy to make.

Try kisssoft its a software... u can download trial version from

http://www.kisssoft.ch/english/willkommen.htm u need to entre basic details and it will give you the whole gear spec....
