Dear Guys

can anyone adivse me how to go about this, am having a 10 tone scroll compressor aleady installed in a machine and at one time its electronic expansion valve failed, and we had to change its control card(vcm) the problem now rises compressor pump where by the motor runs with the pump off after a few minites it displays a low presure alarm thus turning the compressor off.

what can be done when the scroll compressor pump fails.

Steps aleady taken:

runing it in a reverse mode

restarting it after over 12hours

Waiting to hear from u guys thanks alot .

That was a pathetic response. Are you really that dumb? All of your posts have the same old sh1te and it is sad. Are you trying to be cool or funny? Either way you are failing. What is with the "<Splutter>" that you put in all your posts? Perhaps you should change your username from Stinky Pete to Stupid Pete.

Dear guest,

I don't understand "the motor runs with the pump off" most scroll compressors are sealed with the motor direct driving the compressor (oump?) It appears that the motor IS driving the compressor as it should.

Did you also change the expansion valve?

You should check the cut out pressure using a normal mechanical guage and check it against any read out you may have. If the compressor runs and cuts out at the predetermined pressure and while it is running, check to see if there is ice forming on the outlet of the expansion valve and at the outlet of the evaporator. Check to hear if the expansion valve is noisy (rushing sound), if so, the system is short of refrigerant.

If no ice or cooling at the evaporator outlet and ice/cooling at the expansion valve, faulty/blocked expansion valve.

NEVER change the direction of a previously run scroll compressor, you may have already damaged it..

Good luck

Phil
