Get a professional consultant for the job. You would need proper PE certifications for jobs such as these. Not to doubt the capabilities of the forum contributors, you wouldn't want to get burned (not literally) if the implementation doesn't work or worse, accidents due to selection errors.

HI,

I am having a similar challange too. I want to construct first floor expnasion of our existing laboratory and to install heat pump for the entire structure cooling .

the hvac expert has asked us to find the mass of the slab and the walls so as to design the system so as to design theheat pump system that would not only provied the air at a comfort conditons but also generate dc currant that would be possibly utilised for electrochemical research reactions

You should follow the NEC -National Electrical Code-. Good lock.

I work with a mechanical and electrical consulting firm. Block Load v4.13 from Carrier is a popular industry standard tool for doing heating and cooling loads. Quite user friendly. Trane also has software. Phone a supplier, and you may be able to try their demo programs.

Heat loads are very simple calculations. Cooling loads require programs like these because they will factor in sun exposure, etc.

Note: I was referring to heating and cooling loads. If you're referring to electrical only, the aforementioned software isn't applicable.
