Fuel Cell Powered Truck Passes the Test

A standard Class 8 commercial truck retrofitted with a "fuel cell auxiliary power unit that runs on hydrogen gas to power the engine's electrical functions" has completed it's cross country trip!
The U.S. Army's Tank Automotive Research Development and Engineering Center was involved in the project.

I can't help but worry about 33lb. of hydrogen might be a TAD to explosive for combat work. I know gasoline is flammable to, but I'd hate to think what would happen if an RPG hit the fuel tanks on this truck...
