Hi

It sounds like you have a pretty good idea of what you want but would like someone to provide the Lenze expertise to design it.

While you may find someone on the forum to answer this, I would suggest that you contact your local Lenze distributor. They usually have staff that do this stuff all the time - and they know the VFD capabilities.

What time zone are you in?

These guys helped me out few times when I had Lenze / AC Tech questions. Give their tech support people a call. I think they are in central or mountain time zone.

It is late but I could help you on this application.

What I understood from here is that you would make =this application with 9325-ES but you will need to write a program on PLC as well. If you havent chose the driver yet, go for 9325-ep.

This is called position servo. There are 32 pages on EP servo to make your program easier. You can set the digital inputs as a home home switches and limit switches as well. You can complate all those setting and the steps in positioning in 10 minutes.

If you have any questions, you can write in here

This page has all current Lenze servos listed. Take a look at the i700 series.
