Formula for % and mA

Dear Sirs,

Kindly give me the formula for :

By pressure value how to calculate mA ( LRV 10 barg, URV 50 Barg Process pressure shows 18 barg so what is the Output mA)

by mA how to calculate pressure.

Assuming 4-20mA,

mA=(((PV-LRV)/URV)*mA_Scale)+mA_Offset

=(((18-10)/40)*16)+4

=7.2mA

Try to Understand about Interpolation You , will understand the logic behind that Calc

lrv.........10 bar.....4 mA

urv........50 bar.....20 mA

so 1 bar......0.4 mA

then 18 bar.........18x0.4=7.2 mA

Is this true????????
