Have belt driven honda generator: (Motor and generator are totally separate). Motor flywheel houses high voltage module on one side of crankshaft (delivering to sparkplug) and a laminated coil on opposite side. Four wires lead from this laminated coil to the generator. What is the function of the four wires from the laminated coil? Possibly to supply field current to the generator---or possibly to supply primary current to the motor secondary-----or both?
