snubber circuit

dears,

i need your help in designing a snubber circuit for the following SCR :

APPLIED VOLTAGE=420-1200V

CONTINOUS CURRENT =105A

EXPLAIN PLS

to design the snubber circuit we need data sheet of the thyristors.there we can find the (dv/dt)max and (di/dt)max r needed. these will get in data sheet. there r formulas for this. please reffer MD Singh book for power electronics

Read up on industrial electronics which tells you about this problem and how to fix it.
