Data for a Sun-Tracking Parabolic Mirror

08/06/2009 3:47 AM

Dear friends

I like to know what is the efficiency of a sun tracking parabolic mirror, for a trough shaped, and for a dish shaped.

I plan some complete innovative cooling machine, the can use solar energy-[but not the absorption sistem],it should be for domestic as well for industrial uses-it says from 2kw up to 100kw.

And of course I need to know the price of such sistems.

Trough shaped mirrors are easier to mount and control in my opinion. They also take up less ground surface area, unless you follow the way of the bees and produce a hexagonal shape. I take it you wish to construct a refigeration/cooling system and your source of energy is solar. Your reference to the exclusion of an "absorption system" is regards the internal operation of your proposed cooler or to the application of your solar energy source -light versus heat?
