Tamper-Proof Screws Foiling the Mischievous

Aw, Nuts!
Heard round the world from high schools, college campuses and mall bathrooms when the "one-way" turning screw was introduced to bathroom stalls, expensive projector equipment and automobiles. Car companies, in fact, have been the biggest buyers of different types of tamper resistant screws featured in an article from Mechanical Engineering.
The head designs are becoming more and creative in preventing 'unauthorized adjustment' of screws. Many of the different tamper-resistant screws are easy and cheap to make, but the benefits and profits in the fasteners industry are quite remarkable.

Tamper proof

Calling anything tamper proof is asking for trouble. Tamper resistant is a better choice. Anybody who really wants to remove a screw will find a way to do so.
Never underestimate the ingenuity of a juvenile delinquent with to much time on his hands.
