Please give me a source in which the program using matlab is done.

MatLAB is not a character recognition program and as such is not designed for this.

Yup indeed, MatLAB is not a character recognition program and as such is not designed for this. You have to google some OCR tools(abbreviated from optical character recognition), and select one to help you with your work. Remember to check its free trial package fist if possible.
