Just dont let the Oil Companies (Energy Companies) to buy into it or we will never hear of it again. They have vested interests to control our energy sources.
Since the USA has more coal than Saudi Arabia has oil, this could go a long way in tapping those underutilized reserves and promoting energy independence. I have also seen where the U.S. Air Force is promoting a synthetic fuel program utilizing coal. If I remember the article correctly by 2011 all Air Force aircraft should be certified for a 50-50 blend of synthetic jet fuel.
I will have to disagree about this canceling the referred to post, instead it provides a missing component. The spacecraft was missing an energy source, after reading the referred to post, I'm conceptualizing this marvelous high-tech spacecraft with a boiler room and stokers in the middle.
PS: I see I was too late to beat the conspiracy theorist.
