simulation of substation

Hi,

I want to simulate protection scheme for existing (132/33 kV)substation using ETAP.

can u Pls give basic concept, so that i can start my project.

Do these steps:

1. Create the OLD (One Line Diagram) accurately in EDIT mode

2. Enter correct data for all equipment (utility, cable, breakers, transformer, busbar, feeder loads, protection relay etc.) in EDIT mode. It is better to select these from the library if they are available in the ETAP library.

3. Once your OLD is created, then start the analysis (short circuit, load flow, arc flash, device coordination etc.)

There is a good tutorial in the ETAP website (http://etap.com/tutorials.htm)

It is very simple to do in ETAP.
