Why not a specific CR4 section on this subject?

It is a good suggestion. Maintenance management and engineering is a vast area and needs very highly skilled professionals to keep the down time of the equipment or facilities to minimum level. Also to carry out facilities management within the allotted budget without compromising the quality of services is an art. It is an excellent idea.

Could certainly be a goer..........however, the field(s) do need to be clearly defined,

e.g.steam:- is this going to be boilers/turbines.....what output/capacity........what systems, superheated steam/wet steam..........condensers............pumps, etc.........

plant:- type of plant........what machinery included........depth of maintenance required ........system requirements, etc......

I agree also. I work in a plant working 7 days a week and up to 20 hours a day. maintenance is a big issue for us. I would welcome it.
