Bearing Lubrication

09/15/2009 3:02 AM

on a formula of replenishing bearing lubrication of:

Gp = 0,005 D B; side of bearing

Gp = 0,002 D B; outer and inner ring

where:

Gp - grease quantity to be added

D - bearing outside diameter

B - bearing width

- what does the comma (,) means?

It is just a decimal separator - equivalent to 0.005
