There are many type of flame detector and each type of these flame detectors has different type of output. I remember the last time I used a flame detector for my ladder heating station, is a photo sensor where, when the photo sensor detect the flame the resistance of the sensor is decrease and it energize an output relay.

What I can suggest to you, is to search in the internet or get some help from the suppliers who ever sell these flame detector, so that you can get the correct type of flame detector you needed. There are some with an output of 0 V to 5 V and some have an output of 4mA to 20 mA. It is all depend on your requirement whether you want to connect it to a 4 to 20mA display or 0 to 5V display.
