There may be a number of problems and solutions.

A dry powder will trap air. - to reduce trapped air add vibrations to the powder when it is in the form before sealing.

The accuracy of the measuring of the powder will make a difference.

Another solution is to use a vacuum sealer, or thicker/denser form material.

You may try the following..cheapest way.

If the powder is not hygroscopic, punch a micro hole on the film by means of a syncrhronized air piston+nail; usually placed on top of the base machine before the forming shoulder.

Alternatively, make two rectangular plates of mild steel, 30-50 mm wide and length equal to bag width. Fast right below the horizontal sealing jaws facing each other. Make them so they will attach slightly forward of the travelling sealing jaws. The air will be squeezed out just before sealing. You might need to play with it for a while, adjust squezzers up and down or forward and backward, possibly reduce speed to get the bag just right. But it does work.

We use a similar method as coffeebean described with great success but instead of plates we use springs.

Below your jaws mount a couple of sets of brackets that extend down to just below the length of your longest pouch. I use .25in x .75in 304ss and then drill and tap a bunch of m6 holes. Stick bolts with lock nuts in the holes and secure with the bolt heads out about a half inch. I use some cheap general purpose lightweight .25in springs and put a food grade rubber hose over them. Use the bolt heads to mount the springs but with almost no tension on the springs, just enough to keep them from sagging.

This is really cheap and works well to knock the air out with no damage to the bag or product.

If you have a difficult time understanding or visualizing this let me know and I'll snap a picture or two of what I have mounted on my Triangles.

I understand

but picture will clear the imagination.

second if powder is flowing with air then what we have to do.

because if i fill that powder in glass and tapped. powder is reducing its volume.

thanks

Please be in touch.

I wouldn't think that air in the powder would be an issue. You would not want to slap the powder really hard with the springs for the obvious reason. But if you size and position the springs correctly you should be able you get most of the excess air out without causing the power to explode.

Dear switchman

Thanks for photo. its very clear. Is it possible to send some more photo i.e. vertical jaw, area between vertical and horizontal jaw.

Is your machine having jaw puller mechanisum.

I think our people made mistake to decide pouch length.

Is there any standard way to decide pouch length.

Thank you very much.

I'll take some more photos when I go in on Monday.

This machine uses side pull belts with vacuum to drive the film to whatever length is set in the program.

It has a vertical back seal bar that is only operated momentarily to make the seal.
