sizing of transformer bank

3 single phase 500kva transformers hooked together for three phase. Do you add the kva for overall size of bank?

Yes. 1500 kva total.

Yes but this aplies for 3-ph reasonably balanced loads only. A dedicated 3-ph transformer can normally give about double per phase (total respected)
