Highly recommend Sideways as a very funny movie. Its a smart comedy and it has a serious side to it as well. This movie should appeal to both men and women.
Sideways is one of the best movies I've seen in the last five years. It contains four of the most complex and compelling characters to appear on screen. All are very real with significant character flaws. The movie is well acted, humorous, and at times very moving. And as one who enjoys a fine wine, from time to time, the vineyard tours, tastings and soliloqies add greatly. One note, it is an R-rated film for a reason.
