DC Brushless Motor Design

12/27/2006 1:42 PM

I am trying to network with some of the top engineers that have extensive experience in the design of DC brushless motors. Does anyone know someone with experience in this highly specified area?

I designed a piece of oilfield equipment that required high torque and slow RPM output. Best in the field is Astro Motors.of Florida. They will help with packaging, but not electronics. For electronics you could try Innova Electronics of Houston www.innovaelec.com. Moog and Kollmorgan also do brushless DC motors, but their engineering did not (at least when I was designing) offer the same packaging. Astro was one stop shopping
