Using insects to fight insects

This is really fascinating research coming from Vientiane! Farmers are using insects not to kill the parasites that get mustard, collards, etc., but to reproduce with the parasites, spawning a different animal that won't eat the crops.

They don't turn into an incest that doesn't eat the plant. It causes them to produce sterile offspring. Still it has to be better than spraying poison on everything.
