Need a little more info. I used to build guy towers,(and self supporters.) I've installed a lot of preforms, in-line short and long splices, molly hogans, etc. Try

There are a few industries that have this type of technology.

One of them is the Hose Manufacturing industry. One of the major OEM's, Magnatech International of Robesonia, PA - US has some techniques implemented on their machinery for preforming wire for use in reinforcing high pressure hose. If there is no rubber material, the wire on an RB-2 machine is braided wire "rope".

Particularly http://www.magnatech-int.com/products/wswiv.asp .

Enjoy.
