Inductor Alternator

Could anyone send me a cross section of a plain so called " inductor alternator" ?
Both heteropolar and homopolar

Or an internet address where to get this information.
I have tryed on the web, but all the reports are on inductor alternators used for telecomunications.

I mean the inductor alternators (if there is any) used to provide electricity at 50 or 60 Hz, not the ones used for communications purposes.
