Liner Thickness Gauge

We have a problem to measure a liner thickness. we are using ultrasonic thickness gauge. Everytime we go inside the hopper to measure( outside M.S plate, inside S.S plate). My question is any instrument we can measure liner(S.S) from out side. Anybody give suggestion it will very helpful for measure inside liner.

No none as far i've known since you're measuring a thickness of different material and the space in between them is serving as a gap to bounce back the signal of your UT gauge.

I haven't seen one, In this world of technology there could be one. As far as I know using the ultrasonic thickness gauge is hard to measure two materails against each other with different sound velocity.
