You may need to supply more detail. Is the generator powered by an engine that runs on an alternative fuel? Is the centrifugal pump powered by an electric motor fed by the generator? Generators, centrifugal pumps, and alternative fuel engines are three separate subjects, each of which could require a great deal of study.

Hmmmm.....yet another homework problem that has reared it's ugly head here....

We would require much more information than you have given us in order to steer you in the right direction. Please understand that we cannot give you answers that'll solve your homework project. We can, however, assist you in finding the correct resources that you will have to study and work out your problem on your own accord. Even as a an engineering student you must realize that you have the brain capacity, training (however limited), and common sense to find those very resources yourself, don't you?

Have a great sunny day!

Hello my friend

like the captain said we can direct you and I too refuse to do it for you. Use google and research the answers

You can also try www.slb.com

Schlumberger have a subermersible pump section and they use multi-stage centrifugal pumps.

and look at www.submersiblepumpstandards.com

they might be able to help to!
