Copper Drawing for electrical cables

Dear all

I have 2 question and if any one can help me for answering

1-How decrease the powders (Fines) come from drawing process of copper wires ? and how I can use this powder.?

you should be using polished diamond dies in series to draw the copper down. I believe they use sodium stearate in methyl alcohol as lubricant.

Any copper dust collected goes into the scrap, but collect it in a separate can as it will be a lower grade of copper and if you out it with the copper you will get a lower price for it all.
