Obtaining U Stamp and R Stamp Certification

would like to know procedure for getting U stamp R stamp certification for fabrication of pressure vessels to our workshop in UAE and need to get any consultant for this if any.

You are talking about ASME Stamps... Right?

As far as I know, Getting such stamps do not have anything with where you are.

You may contact ASME in USA and ask them to depute Authorized Inspectors. It will be expensive whether you are rich or not.

In Asia, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand and India, there are huge number of AIs working. You invite them to audit your factory and discuss what is needed for getting certification of factory.

You may contact ASME website first and get to know the nearest centers operating AI. They will guide you welll.

Yes the ASME, but I heared there are consultants like VELOCI , LR who will help in getting these stamps accredited to our co,Is it true

Yes. It is true in our country. I do not know the situation in you mentioned country, but, there is no reason to be different.

They hired authorized inspectors. This is why they can help you~!

They can also support ISO certification process...

In conclusion, I say that it is better to contact the agency for such organization instead of CR4. They can help you more specifically and conceretely.

In Egypt, we are the pioneers for holding ASME certificate of authorization U-stamp and National Board (NB) R-stamp since 1994. And we arrange to hold both PP-stamp and S-stamp during the next renewal/review in April 2010. I participated as design engineer/manager in a lot of audits for both new and renewal of ASME and NB certificate of authorization in behalf of a lot of firms in Egypt and Arabian Gulf Area for preparing: Design calculations, Design drawings, Material requisition, Vessel/demo datasheet, Workshop fits & tolerances, and Attending the review.

you can go to http://www.standardshop.orgthere sale a lot of asme aws api standard and so one .can immediately download,and very cheap low price!
