Replacement Gear for Koehring 1350 Construction Equipment

11/30/2009 12:12 PM

My partner has a skidsteer/bobcat that has thrown a gear and cannot find any info or service/parts place. Any help, from a manual to locating parts would be great. the id plate says koehring 1350 construction equipment. Any help or ideas, please let me know. This gear is one that the left side drive chain rides on, i dont think it is the drive gear, but it keeps the chain tight, etc. Thanks in advance, charles, even if you only tell me which catagory i would likely find a result in,thanks

This may not be of much help, but sometimes you can find parts machines at machinerytrader.com or by calling them even if what you are looking for is not listed. They have been in business for quite some time and have many contacts. At one time I needed 2 hydraulic motors for my Case 1845C skid loader. After calling them I had several places that had what I was looking for with prices that were a lot more reasonable than what the local places wanted........good luck

Seems you are describing an idler sprocket, often these can be off the shelf items at farm & equipment centers.

Example

I didnt look at it yet,my partner did,but this sounds like what he described. My best suggestion to him was to try motion industries, if it moves,or moves anything, they probably have it. I was hoping that someone knew a parts dealer that specifically handled koering parts. So i knew i would, probably, get the right size and grade of gear on the first order, and not have to hope motion industries version held up to the abuse its sure to get.

I had first thought to give such information but you've neglected to provide a physical location.

They'll find it but I'd find a machine shop have them make up two or three, create a good rapport you may find a machine shop a valuable resource since rare parts make repair a hard job. A good shop could cut sprockets out of plate with plasma cutter Here servicing Louisville, KY
