Colored Concrete

01/14/2007 11:06 PM

kindly give me an idea where I can find the page/s which discuss the coloring pigment for concrete. Is it cost effective compared to applying paints like we always did? Thank you in anticipation.....

The companies listed on this page sell industrial pigments. Clicking on a company's name will take you to another page where you can jump right to their web site. Hope this helps.

I have specced colored concrete for many projects, I do not know of any municipality that uses paint. The colorant mean the color last even as the surface wear and therefore low maintenance. It is relatively cheap only about $30 to dye about 3 CuYd for the last small sidewalk we poured. Obviously, this was a very small quantity of colorant. Purchased in large quantities should afford some savings.
